Upcoming workshop at Loaf Bakery

For our next salt dough decoration making workshop, Clipping the Church will be teaming up with Loaf Bakery and Cookery School in Stirchley. Join Tereza in getting messy and making salt dough decorations which will be used for decorating St Barnabas Church as part of the final ‘Clipping’. Try your hand at making beautiful traditional Eastern European plaited doughs, or express what motherhood means to you by using only flour, water and salt!

Starting from it’s roots in the value of community, baking, and sharing real food, Loaf has expanded into a successful cookery school and full time bakery, with a growing national reputation and fantastic support from the local community.

Loaf aims to “promote real food and healthy living in Birmingham, and build community through food. ”

You can read what they’re all about in their manifesto on their website.

The workshop will run from 11am until 1pm, it’s free, with no need to book – all you need to do is come along ready to get stuck in! Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Loaf can be found on Stirchley High Street, at 1421 Pershore Road, B30 2JL.

We can’t wait to see you on the day!
