Salt Dough Decoration Making Workshop, Artist Talk, and Film Screening
From 2.30pm
St Barnabas Church, Erdington High Street, B23 6SY.


The afternoon will begin with a salt dough decoration making workshop. People of all ages are invited to Join Tereza in getting messy and making salt dough decorations which will be used for decorating St Barnabas’ Church as part of the final ‘Clipping’.

After refreshments, join Tereza for the opportunity to hear the artist talk about her work and Clipping the Church, followed a screening of one of Tereza’s films Baked Woman of Doubice (2012).

Set in the Czech Village of Doubice, the film shows group of women (including the artist’s mother) perform a fantasy ritual from which the ‘baked woman’ emerges. This film includes actor Zoe Simons and musical composition by Bela Emerson, who will both be collaborating with Tereza in live performances during the Clipping the Church event at St Barnabas in June.

All activities are free, with no need to book, but please note that places for the workshop are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
